We keep this short because we collect very little. Aircon Wars is a comparison site, not an account-based service, so there’s nothing to sign up for and no profile to fill in.

What we collect

We use privacy-light analytics to understand which pages are useful and how the site performs. This covers aggregate things like page views, rough referrer, and device type. We don’t ask for your name, email, or any other personal detail, and we don’t build advertising profiles.

Affiliate cookies

When you click through to a retailer, the affiliate network (Awin or the eBay Partner Network) sets a cookie so the retailer can attribute any resulting sale to us. Those cookies are set by the networks, not by Aircon Wars, and are governed by their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details, basket, or order. What we never do

We do not sell or rent personal data, full stop. We don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing. We only use the limited analytics above to run and improve the site.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data an organisation holds about you, including access, correction and erasure. Because we don’t hold identifiable personal data about visitors, there’s usually nothing for us to retrieve, but if you have a question, get in touch and we’ll help.
